David O. Pope, age 71 of Arcanum, Ohio passed away at 1:33 PM Monday December 31, 2018 at the Promise Hospital of The Villages in Florida. Dave was born November 13, 1947 in Newark, Ohio and the son of the late Charles M. and Evelyn (Frankenberry) Pope.

He was a Partner of TXI Corporation of Greenville and a Veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the US Marine Corp. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed fishing and playing golf and spending time with his family, particularly his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant daughter Meghan.

Dave is survived by his wife Imelda A. (Wilder) Pope of Arcanum. They were married February 20, 1971. Also son and daughter-in-law Chris and Tiffany Pope of Greenville; grandchildren Carson, Callie and Charlie all of Greenville; Sister Dian Johnson of Newark, Ohio as well as a nephew Eric (Lori) Johnson and a niece Amy Johnson.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday January 15, 2019 in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church 233 West Third Street Greenville, Ohio with Father John R. White as celebrant. Burial with full Military Honors by the Greenville Veteran’s Honor Guard will follow in the St. Mary’s Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers the family would like Memorial Contributions be given to the St. Mary’s Catholic School of Greenville.

William S. “Bill” Pepiot age 83, of Versailles, Ohio, passed away at 7:10 PM on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at Wayne HealthCare in Greenville, Ohio.

Bill was born August 3, 1935, in Versailles, Ohio, to the late Clarence & Mildred (Monnin) Pepiot. In addition to his parents, Bill was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Lucy Hoelscher; and brothers-in-law, Linus Heitkamp and Bernard Drees.

Bill is survived by his wife, Mary M. (Drees) Pepiot whom he married November 9, 1957; daughter & son-in-law, Monica & Scott Winemiller of Lake Orion, Michigan; grandsons, Andrew S. Winemiller, senior at Ferris State University majoring in accounting and Alex S. Winemiller, freshman at Lake Orion High School, playing on the JV bowling team; brother & sister-in-law, Thomas & Linda Pepiot of Troy, Ohio; sisters & brother-in-law, Patricia Heitkamp of Versailles and Norma & Lester Monnin of Versailles; sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law, Rebecca & Charles Fatone of Vandalia, Ohio, Earlene Drees of Ft. Loramie, Ohio, and Nelson Hoelscher of Newport, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bill graduated from Versailles High School in 1953 and then attended Sinclair Community College to take courses to advance his career. SP4 William Pepiot served his Country during the Korean Era 1954-1956. Bill served with the 11th Airborne and received his Paratrooper Wings. He was deployed to Germany and joined the 5th Corp. 35th Truck Company. Bill was Honorably Discharged in 1956.

Bill purchased equipment for the Remanufacturing Plant, Copeland Corp. in Rushville, Indiana. Bill along with the Director was involved with the equipment and layout of the plant. They met their goals for start of production in May of 1980. Bill was Quality Control and Product Engineering Manager at Rushville. He was also responsible for engineering changes to the products to help their authorized license plants throughout the United States. He retired as Product Engineering Manager in 1995 with combined employment 1953-1966 and 1974-1995 for a total of 38 years of service.

Bill and his family moved to Rushville, Indiana, to set up Copeland Plant and they joined St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Bill’s daughter attended St. Mary’s Catholic School. He was active in the parish serving as usher and was on the parish counsel. Bill was active for 20 years on the maintenance committee, maintaining upkeep on the parish school, church, rectory and the wooded area next to the parking lot and school. Bill and his wife were marriage counselors before couples got married.

Bill was a member of Russia Catholic War Veterans since 1961. He was also a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles, Ohio, the American Legion in Versailles, Ohio, Versailles Eagles Lodge #2347, Knights of Columbus Counsel 1756, Band Boosters, Tiger 250 Club, Friends of Hole Field and Friends of the Historical Society.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, January 14, 2019, at St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles, Ohio, with Rev. Fr. Jim Simons celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery in Versailles with full military honors conducted by the Russia Catholic War Veterans and the Versailles Veteran’s Honor Guard. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 to 7:00 PM and Monday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles, Ohio. Linda Jo Tipple, of Greenville, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.

She was born August 20, 1946 in Union City, Ohio, to the late Norman Keith and Dorothy (Stemmer) Passmore.

Linda was a Registered Nurse for 50 years and retired from Rest Haven Nursing Home. She was passionate about cooking and baking, and she was known for her blue ribbon winning apple pies. She enjoyed using her IPad and following her friends and family on social media. She loved spending time with her family and friends and going on road trips. She is a member of EUM Church.

Linda is survived by her husband of 51 years, Rex Tipple; her children, Krista (Bill Jr.) Nix of Piqua, Ohio, Julia (Harry) Farver of Galena, Ohio, and Aaron (Maura Poetsch) Tipple of Vandalia, Ohio; her grandchildren, Kendra (Tyler) Thompson of Piqua, Ohio, Bill III "Buddy" (Taesha) Nix of Piqua, Ohio, Lauren, Rachel, and Garrett Farver all of Galena, Ohio, Allison and A.J. Tipple and Avery Poetsch of Vandalia, Ohio; her great-grandchildren, Raelynn Nix and Elliana Thompson; her sister, Karen Ramsey of Bellevue, Nebraska; her niece, Michele Johnson of Wheatland, California; and her beloved pets, Midnight and Woody.

Martha Jane Snyder, 102, of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at the Oakley Place in Greenville.

She was born on November 30, 1916 to the late Thomas S. and Mildred (Beare) Lickel of Ansonia, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Robert Snyder, whom she married on April 6, 1940; her children, Thomas and Bobbe Snyder; her grandson, Chris Prosyk; and her great-great grandchild, Alayna Hanlin.

Jane was a graduate of Ansonia High School. She loved spending time outside tending to her flowers and gardens. She was a member of the African Violet Society and the Redbud Garden Club for many years. She was an active golfer and bowled until her mid-80s. Jane instilled her love of reading to her children.

Jane is survived by her children, James M. (Gail) Snyder of Greenville, Diane (Walt) Scarloss of Dublin, Ohio, Karen Printz of Rossburg, Ohio, Jean (Denny) Cool of Arcanum, Ohio, and June Prosyk of Greenville; her grandchildren, Troy (Kim) Blumenstock of Corydon, Indiana, Jim Mendenhall of Greenville, Craig Blumenstock of Union City, Indiana, Ben (Angie) Blumenstock of Greenville, Jaime Snyder of Florida, Tracy Zeller of Palestine, Ohio, Michelle (Patrick) Popp of Kettering, Ohio, Chad (Sam) Zeller of Ansonia, Eric Mendenhall of Greenville, Todd (Darla) Printz of Ansonia, John (Joy) Printz, and Amy Prosyk of Lewis Center, Ohio; her 24 great grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren.

Carol Bootier Leonard, 73, of Greenville, passed away at home surrounded by her family, early Sunday morning, January 13, 2019.

She was born on February 15, 1945 in Schenectady, New York to the late Harold Lee and Antoinette Marie (Augusta) Bootier.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by two grandsons, James Theo Leonard and Sam Leonard.

Carol loved all God’s creations. She loved exploring the outdoors, hiking, camping and kayaking. She absolutely adored otters and their playful nature which mirrored her own playful sprit. She loved all animals, but she had a special place for her dogs. Brodie, her beloved pet, was by her side until the end. She was very creative and enjoyed crocheting, basket weaving and was an amazing baker. Carol enjoyed reading. She especially loved studying God’s word.

Carol was a caregiver. She devoted her life to caring for others as a nurse at Rest Haven Nursing Home. She had a heart for children. Together with her husband, they operated the Emmaus Learning Center where she had been a teacher for the past 15 years. She was a proponent of life and was very active with the Darke County Pregnancy Help Center.

Carol is survived by her husband of 37 years, Pastor Jim Leonard, whom she married October 24, 1981; her daughter, Nicole (Micah) Thorp of Greenville; her son, Sgt. Jesse Lee Leonard of Frederic, Michigan; her grandchildren, Tyler He, Kaitlyn, Marcus, Lukas, and Iris Thorp; her siblings, Karen (Paul) Akers of St. Petersburg, Florida, Peter Bootier of Yankeetown, Florida, Harold (Karen) Bootier of Litize, Pennsylvania, and Mary (Butch) Lamb of Boynton, Beach, Florida.

A Celebration of Carol’s life will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus with Evangelist Harlan Barnett officiating.

Sharon E. Pearce, 76, of New Madison, Ohio, passed away Monday, January 14, 2019 at her home after hard fought battle with cancer.

She was born December 14, 1942 in Hollansburg, Ohio, to the late Hamilton and Henrietta (Gregg) Martin.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Pearce, in 1977, and her siblings, Rev. Emmett Martin, Berneice Schlosser, Denver Martin, Elvan Martin, and John Martin.

Sharon had a light-hearted spirit and enjoyed telling jokes and pulling pranks. She was the life of the party and you could always count on her to put a smile on your face, sometimes at your expense. She loved the outdoors, camping, gardening and canning. Sharon was up before dawn and would work till dark. She was an extremely hard working person. She lived for her family and loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. She played a huge role in the lives of her family and though she has left this earth, her legacy lives on.

Sharon is survived by her children, Dave (Jodi) Pearce of Greenville, Debbie Pearce of New Madison, Brenda Earles of New Madison, and Karen (Kelly) Hunt of Eldorado; her siblings, Irene Saylor of Richmond, Indiana, Victor (Gladys) Martin of Eaton, Ohio, La Dema (Lloyd) McDermitt of Williamsburg, Indiana, Faye Martin of New Paris, Ohio, Esther Shuler of Eaton, Ohio, and Ruth Martin of Cincinnati, Ohio. Sharon also leaves behind her grandchildren, Gary, Andrea, Natalie, Travis and Joel Hunt, Selo, Kyle, Makayla, and Eric Pearce, Ruth, Seth, and Meri Earles; countless nieces and nephews, and her first great grandchild on the way.

A Celebration of Sharon’s life will be held Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Go Ministries, 114 Orchard Street, West Manchester, Ohio, with Pastor Doug Townsend officiating. Burial will follow in Greenmound Cemetery in New Madison.

David William Culbertson, age 82 of Greenville, Ohio passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019. He was born in Greenville, Ohio on October 14, 1936.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Isabel (Urban) Culbertson, 2 daughters, Lee (Dr. John) Turner and Carol (Tom) Culbertson-Attak, and 1 grandson, Matthew. Also 2 step-daughters, 4 step-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Rolla and Catherine (Irwin) Culbertson, and his 2 sisters, Catharine Skove and Dorothy Pack and his beloved dog, Rufus.

He graduated from Greenville High School and the University of Dayton with a BS in Business Administration.

He worked for over 15 years at Dayton Tire & Rubber and continued his career for many years as a pioneer in the computer science field writing software programs.

Dave was an avid golfer and longtime member of the Greenville Country Club, where he patiently taught his 2 daughters to play golf. He was the Treasurer of the Greenville Art Guild and was involved in the restoration of Memorial Hall. He also enjoyed collecting Niloak pottery, Sudoku, yard work, and dinner with his dear friends. He could often be spotted walking on Broadway with his dog, stopping for coffee or enjoying a Maid-Rite, a place he frequented since his high school days. He was also a life-long blood donor.

He will be dearly missed by his family and friends and was a kind and gentle man.

Visitation will take place at Zechar-Bailey Funeral Home, 1499 N Broadway St, Greenville, OH 45331 on Thursday, January 17, 2019, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Noah W. Hans, age 99, of Greenville, Ohio passed away peacefully at 6:30 PM, Sunday January 13, 2019 at his home. Born in Darke County, Ohio on November 26, 1919 he was one of 4 boys born to the late Jacob & Della (Erisman) Hans. Noah was a life-long farmer. He enjoyed square dancing, playing euchre, and spending time with his farm dogs “Teddy” & “Freddy”. Noah spent the winter in North Ft. Myers, Florida, and was considered to be quite the “jokester”. He will truly be missed. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Thelma B. (Hughes) Hans: infant daughter Diana Hans: son Larry Hans: brothers Grover, Ralph & Guy Hans: half siblings Howard Shephard; Grace Shephard.

Patty G. Jett, age 60 of Greenville, Ohio passed away peacefully at her home on January 5, 2019 at 7:00 AM. Born in Greenville, Ohio on August 4, 1958 she was one of 5 children born to Mary (Crawford) Jett and the late Daniel Jett. Patty enjoyed arts & crafts, painting and making beaded jewelry. She loved growing sunflowers and gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Greenville. Patty will truly be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her sister Deana Joseph; Tammy Gilmore; and her beloved dog “Laddie” and cat “CC”.

Harold "Jake" Rodeheffer, 94, of Union City, Ohio passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019 at his home.

Jake was born on October 9, 1924 to the late William and Nellie (Brewer) Rodeheffer of Lightsville, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, Jake was preceded in death by his son, Robert Allen Rodeheffer; siblings, Wilbur "Bud" Rodeheffer, Olive Haynes, Betty Koontz, and Don "Ike" Rodeheffer.

Jake was a 1943 graduate of Jackson Township High School, now known as Mississinawa Valley High School. After graduation, he joined the Naval Air Force, where he served his country honorably during World War II. While stationed at New Cumberland, Jake met the love of his life, Marion Snell whom he married on July 15, 1946.

He enjoyed being outdoors, like most farmers. Jake enjoyed raising turkeys and tending to his crops. While not on the farm, Jake worked in skilled trades at the Body Company in Union City until he retired in 1990. He enjoyed collecting antique tractors and showcasing them at local tractor shows. Jake loved visiting his family and friends and would spend all day traveling the trailer park in Florida each winter catching up with them. He was a member of the Lightsville Grange, the Union City American Legion Post 158, and the Lightsville Methodist Church.

In addition to his wife, Marion, Jake is survived by his children, Edna (Mike) Carrico of Lightsville, Barry (Mary) Rodeheffer of Union City, and Janice (John) Winger of Union City; his grandchildren, Dale (Jennifer Nicely) Carrico of Union City, Daniel (Natalia) Rodeheffer of Willow Spring, North Carolina, Emily (Jason) Hay of Celina, Barry Russell (Lisa) Rodeheffer of Union City, Susan (Jon) Crank of Union City, J.J. (Bethany) Winger of Union City, Jenna Winger of Van Buren, Indiana, and Jonell Winger of Union City; his 17 great grandchildren; his great-great grandchild, and one on the way.

A private family service will take place at the convenience of the family. Burial will follow at the New Teegarden Cemetery.

Angela M. Clemens Keiser, 52, of New Weston, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at her residence.

She was born on November 29, 1966 in Greenville, Ohio to Fred (Holly) Clemens of Bellbrook, Ohio and Barb (Larry) Hiatt of Greenville.

Angie was a loving wife, devoted mother, sister, daughter, and friend. She loved sitting on her front porch listening to Sunday morning inspiration while enjoying a cup of coffee. She had a huge heart and loved everyone she came in contact with, especially her patients throughout her many years as a dental assistant. She loved her job and became very close with everyone she worked with. Angie often enjoyed her job so much that her family was convinced she looked at her career as a hobby. When her boys were young, Angie opened her home to many families as a local babysitter. She valued the relationships that she created over the years.

She had infectious smile and a bubbly personality that could light up any room. Angie did not know a stranger and was always very eager to make new friends. She was always positive and in her husband's words "she was always right". She kept her faith in God and never questioned His will.

Angie is survived by her husband of 31 years, Keith Keiser, whom she married on June 18, 1988; her children, Connor Keiser of Fairborn, Ohio and Cameron Keiser and his girlfriend, Kylee Sherman, of New Weston, Ohio; her sisters, Christy (Scott) Evans of New Paris, Ohio, Kelly (Barry) Paulus of Greenville, Elaine (Sam) Mains of Dayton, Ohio, Robin (Marty) Munchel of Lynn, Indiana; Marcia (Tony) Sowry of Arcanum, Ohio, Angie (Jason) Scott of Kettering, Ohio; her brothers, Monte (Terri) Clemens of Greenville and Mark (Robin) Hiatt of Lima, Ohio; 20 nieces and nephews and 21 great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Angela's life will take place on Wednesday January 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus with Father David Zink officiating.

Shelah M. Hufford, 49, of Greenville, Ohio went Home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the State of the Heart Care Center in Greenville.

She was born in Dayton, Ohio on October 28, 1969 to Iona (Graham) Glenn of Circleville, Ohio and the late Russel Glenn.

Shelah was a loving mom to her four boys, whom she proudly homeschooled. She enjoyed spending time with her family and church family. She was a member of the Greenville Baptist Church. Shelah was a born-again Christian. She loved the Lord and loved attending church with her family. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, and serving others.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Garry Hufford, whom she married on July 10, 1987; her children, Garry (Marie) Hufford, Jr. of Baltimore, Maryland, Russel (Ashley) Hufford of Elsmere, Kentucky, Daniel Hufford and Douglas Hufford, both of Greenville; grandchildren, Judy, Cyrus, and Darius Hufford; her siblings, Jesse (Sherri) Glenn of Fairbanks, Alaska, John (Sharon) Glenn of Greenville, Jeffrey (Silvia) Glenn of Tampa, Florida, Jason (Jacki) Glenn of North Pole, Alaska, Jerry (Michele) Glenn of Tarlton, Ohio, Leah Glenn of Circleville, Gail (John Ebert) Hebert of Bradenton, Florida, Rebekah (Steven) Tedore of Bradenton, Florida, and Lola Glenn of Lancaster, Ohio; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

John K. Cecil, age 67 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 1:02 PM Thursday January 17, 2019 as the result of an automobile accident in southern Darke County. John was born November 6, 1951 in Greenville and the son of the late Boyd and Mary (Flory) Cecil.

John retired in 2017 from Martin Marietta of Phillipsburg, Ohio. He was a 1970 graduate of Greenville Senior High School, a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 18, a proud member of the National Rifle Association, the Tea Party, he was very active in fishing, boating, camping, cooking and could be seen all over Greenville riding his scooter. He also had a keen interest in politics.

John is survived by his daughters Jamie (Brent) Keltner of Saint Simons Island, Georgia and Tracey (Bret) Williams of Montgomery, Ohio; grandchildren Brooke Williams and Seth Williams; brothers Larry (Bev) Cecil of Pleasant Hill and Bob (Barbara) Cecil of West Milton; sister Amy (Dave) Brewer of Bradford and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of John’s Life will be held at 6:00 PM Wednesday January 23, 2019 in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM in the funeral home.

Martha Jane Merkle age 76, of Versailles passed away at 7:21 AM on Monday, January 21, 2019, at Versailles Healthcare Center.

Martha was born August 29, 1942, in Zanesville, Ohio, to the late Clyde Graves & Irene (Egbert) Graves. In addition to her parents, Martha was also preceded in death by a son, Clyde David Merkle; brother, David Graves; and a brother-in-law, Dean Bales.

Martha is survived by her husband, Harley Merkle ; children, Mickey & John Hage of Anchorage, Alaska, Mary Garcia & Rick Davis of Anchorage, Alaska, Theresa & Dan Michaels of Russia, Ohio, Greg & Rose Merkle of Woodlawn, Tennessee, Christine Harvey of Springfield, Oregon, Beth & Kevin Fulton of Versailles, Ohio, and Nancy Merkle of Lima, Ohio; 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; best friend, Elaine Peck of Versailles, Ohio; brother & sister-in-law, Butch & Judy Graves of Dresden, Ohio; sister, Patty Bales of Dresden, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Martha retired from Versailles Schools where she was a school bus driver for over 35 years.

John H. Tinkle, 90, of New Madison, Ohio, previously of Ridgeville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at his home, surrounded by his family.

He was born in Randolph County, Indiana on July 15, 1928 to the late Henry O. Tinkle and Anna May (Willis) Tinkle.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Eileen (Wooters) Tinkle, whom he married on May 6, 1952; his brother, Cecil Alvin Tinkle; and his sister, Edna Bell (Tinkle) Champ.

John was known as Chief Master Sergeant Tinkle in the U.S. Air Force, where he served his country honorably for 21 years. After retiring from the service, John worked for Bales and Bowen Service Station in Albany, Indiana. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. John’s love for flying continued after his Air Force career. He was a member of the American Legion Post 245 in New Madison and the National Museum of the US Air Force Society.

John is survived by his children, Barry (Gwen) Tinkle of New Madison, Ohio, Doug Tinkle of Dallas, Georgia, Johnnie (Chris) Tinkle of Tipp City, Ohio, Star (Frank Valensi) Darling of Florida; his grandchildren, Jeremy ( Leslie) Tinkle of Enon, Ohio, Matthew (Jessica Mullens) Tinkle of New Madison, Sara Tinkle of Bemidji, Minnesota, Zach (Sarah) Tinkle of Dallas, Georgia, Megan Tinkle of Cartersville, Georgia, Brian Stephenson of Clayton, Ohio, Amy (Jeremy) Fittro of Tipp City, Ohio, Sean (Kim) Darling of Dayton, Ohio, and Scott (Rachel) Darling of Troy, Ohio; his great grandchildren, Cecilie Darling, Dakota Tinkle, Devin Tinkle, and Alexis Fittro; his special friend, Mary Straszheim of New Madison; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Private services will take place at the convenience of the family.

Deborah Godown, 67, of Greenville, Ohio passed away at home on Sunday, January 20, 2019 with her family by her side.

She was born in Greenville on March 28, 1951 to the late Joanne Heffington.

In addition to her mother, Deborah is preceded in death by her brothers; Bobby Crank and Jackie Rolfe.

Deborah retired from GTI in Greenville. She enjoyed going fishing, camping, and putting together puzzles. She also enjoyed spending time at casinos. However, her absolute favorite thing to do was play bingo. Deborah loved big yellow butterflies. If you see a yellow butterfly know that Deborah is with you.

Deborah is survived by her husband of 25 years, Larry Godown, whom she married on June 28; her children; Cory (Ronald) Hocker of Greenville, Johnny (Amy) Godown of Salem, Oregon, Boe (Nicole) Mosley of Tillamook, Oregon, Michele (Steve) Allen of La Pine, Oregon, Angela Bright of Gettysburg, Ohio; her sisters, Faith Dodd, Patty Parks-Hopkins, Sandy Armstrong Hernandez; her grandchildren, Allison Wilson, Amber Moore, Ashley Newens, Caleb Walker, Erin Allen, Brendon Godown, Kayli Godown, Torry Peterson, Trenton Bricco, Titus Bricco, Dartavian Thomas, Aurora Bright, Dalton Fahl, Damaris Fahl, Braden Mosley, Ethan Mosley, Kohen Mosley, and Ella Mosley; her sister-in-law, Becky (Dean) Hubler; her very special friend, Rose (Coy) Buirley; and several great grandchildren.

Benjamin G. Lux, 67, of Winchester, Indiana passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019 at his home.

He was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan on July 17, 1951 to the late Benjamin and Evelyn Pauline (Fultz) Lux.

Benjamin loved working. He was a Prototype Buildtech at Workhorse Custom Chassis. He was a truck driver for J.E. Sanders Trucking for many years. Ben enjoyed making people laugh and could make friends every where he went. He loved his family and was always helping everyone who needed it. He was one of the best friends anybody could have. He enjoyed old cars and old music. Ben loved his dogs, Baby, Mason, Dinky, and Dixie.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Pamela Lux, whom he married on April 20, 1996; his children, Christina Holmes of Ridgeville, Indiana, Angela (Randy) Clark of Winchester, Indiana, Rachael Wagner of Winchester, Indiana, Travis Wood of Peebles, Ohio, and Stacey Jackson of Beauford, South Carolina; his siblings, Faith Cardo, Stephenburg "Buddy" Lux, Renee (Ron) Nickelson, and Roger (Barbara) Lux; his best friend, Johnny "Uncle" Sanders; and many neices, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and of course many other family and friends.

James Jacob Nye, 93 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Monday January 21, 2019 at 4:26 PM at the Brethren Retirement Community. He was born August 26, 1925 in Perry County, Pennsylvania the son of the late Charles & Lillie (Flick) Nye. He farmed for 2 years in Pennsylvania; he then worked for a year at the Miami County Dairy; then he worked at and retired from Hobart Manufacturing after working there for 37 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers and 1 sister.

He is survived by his wife: Ruth Naomi (Hoblit) Nye of Greenville; his children: John A. of New Carlisle, Martha L. of Gettysburg, Ruth A. of Greenville, & Diana J. of Greenville; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 brother & 1 sister.

There will be a short service at 9:00 AM on Friday January 25, 2019 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio followed by a service at 10:00 AM at Oak Grove Old German Baptist Church, Martin Road, Bradford, Ohio with the Home Brethren officiating. Burial will follow in Gettysburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM and from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday January 24, 2019 at the funeral home.
