Raymond R. Macias, 79, of Ansonia, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at State of the Heart Care Center in Greenville.

He was born in Hearne, Texas on August 30, 1939 to the late Maria (Sustaita) and Guadalupe Macias, Sr.

Raymond loved sports. The Ohio State and the Bengals were his favorite teams. He loved his car, a 1964 Ford Thunderbird. Raymond was a hard worker and enjoyed his job as a farmer. He was very involved with his family and loved spending time with them. Raymond also enjoyed dancing and traveling.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Augustina Macias, whom he married November 4, 1972; his siblings, Guadalupe Macias, Jr. of Ansonia, Carmen Macias of South Bend, Indiana, Manuel Macias of Ansonia, Frank Macias of Dayton, Ohio, Manuela Cantilleja of St. Petersburg, Texas, Martina Kofski of Richmond, Indiana, and Emilia Macias of Dayton, Ohio.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenville, with Father John R. White officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.

Family and friends may visit on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus.

Patricia L. “Pat” Unger, age 72 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 9:12 PM Wednesday January 23, 2019 at the State of the Heart Hospice Care Center in Greenville. Pat was born December 5, 1946 in Darke County and the daughter of the late Fred and Winifred C. (Smith) Monnier.

She was a former employee of J.W. Harris Company of Covington, a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Bradford, the Eagles Lodge of Covington and enjoyed listening to music, line-dancing and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James A. “Jim” Unger December 21, 2012. They were married February 15, 1969; Brother James D. Monnier and nephew Kenny Monnier.

Pat is survived by her children Jeffery (Kathrine) Unger of Greenville, Penni Unger and special friend Brad Gigandet of Miamisburg and Holli (Greg) George of Versailles; grandchildren Jonathan, Zachary, Seth, Kyrie, McKenzi, Mallory, Toby, Elliot, Elise, Raeanne, Camille, Joshua, Kenneth and Justin; great grandchildren Maxton, Arthur James “A.J.” and Ivory; sister Susan (Harold) Roberts of Winchester, Indiana, brother-in-law Ned (Brenda Wallace) Unger of Greenville; special friend Robert “Bob” Chandler of Gettysburg, Ohio, her dog Elli as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday January 29, 2019 in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 200 Clay Street Bradford, Ohio with Rev. Father Jim Duell as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Miami Memorial Park Covington, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio.

Hazel (Sanders) Hopper, 90, of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the State of the Heart Care Center in Greenville.

She was born in Hillgrove, Ohio on July 31, 1928 to the late Martin Sanders and Hazel (Ford) Sellers.

In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Anthony, and her seven sisters.

Hazel valued her family. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, cooking almost anything for her family, and canning home-grown vegetables. She and her husband traveled often and have visited almost every state but two. Hazel retired from Westinghouse in Union City. She was a member of the Civil Defense and the Union City American Legion Post 158 Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Richard Hopper, whom she married in October 1956, her daughter, Carol (Richard) Peden of Lynn, Indiana; her grandchildren, J.J. (Karla) Hall of Union City, Indiana, Sheila (Todd) Leach of Winchester, Indiana, Bill (Penny) Baughn of Ridgeville, Indiana, Deanna (Brad) Troutwine of Arcanum, Ohio, Chad (Cathy) Girton of Union City, Ohio, and Tammy Ball of Union City, Indiana; and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Hazel’s life will take place at noon on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus with Rev. Eric Fee officiating. Burial will follow at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.

Family and friends may visit with the Hopper family from 11:00 AM till time of service at the funeral home.

Denny Lee Cool, 72 of Arcanum, Ohio passed away on Friday January 25, 2019 at 8:55 PM at his residence. He was born June 13, 1946 in Piqua, Ohio the son of the late Byron & Margaret (Mutzner) Cool.

Denny served in the National Guard from 1964 until 1970; he was a farmer and a seed salesman for Pioneer Seed Company. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pitsburg, Ohio; he served on the Franklin Township Zoning Board and was a past member of the Darke Soil & Water Conservation District Board; he loved fishing farming, and spending time in the woods or farm fields.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife: Jean (Blumenstock) Cool of Arcanum whom he married December 8, 2007; his daughters & sons in law: Caleena & Steve Hesler of Bradford, Claudette & Danny Diceanu of Bradford, Misty & Randy Flory of Bradford, & Danyelle Cool of Arcanum; his step sons & spouses: Troy & Kim Blumenstock of Corydon, Indiana, Ben & Angie Blumenstock of Greenville, & Craig Blumenstock & fiancé Wendy of Union City, Indiana; grandchildren: Zachary, Bryanna, Brydon, Maya, & Crew Diceanu, Bradey & Parker Hesler, Caleb, Austin, Reese & Rohan Flory, Nychelle, Ky, Braxtyn, & Rhyan Cool; step grandchildren: Lindsey, Krysten, Madison, Dane, Rachel, Annie, Tera, & Cole; 8 great grandchildren; sister & brother in law: Becky & Jerry McMullen; his farm companion: Noel.

Services will be held on Thursday January 31, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church 8520 Oakes Road, Pitsburg, Ohio with Pastor Mel Musser officiating. Burial will follow in Mote Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday January 30, 2019 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Carol Ann Waldon passed away at the age of 78 on the 22nd day of January, 2019. She passed peacefully surrounded by family at her home in Greenville, where she resided most of her life. Carol was born in Brookville Ohio on December 5, 1941 to Clifford and Helen Long, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her three brothers, Dick, Doc, and Tom Long.

Carol retired early from BASF in Greenville in 1993, and enjoyed her 26-year retirement doing those things in life she loved best, including gardening, reading, bird-watching, puzzles, and spending time with her friends and family. She is survived by 5 children: Tamela Brown of Oklahoma, Pamela Werner of Oklahoma, Larry Waldon Jr. of Oklahoma, Patricia Neighbors of Greenville, and Clifford Waldon of Greenville. Carol is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Zachary funeral home on February 2nd at 1:00p pm.

Alice P. Pittman, age 100 of Greenville, Ohio passed away peacefully at 4:45AM, Monday January 28, 2019 at Brookdale Assisted Living, Greenville, Ohio. Born in London, Ohio on July 6, 1918 she was a daughter to the late George & Luwiza (Hoover) Deneca. Alice was a member of the Solid Rock Apostolic Church in Gettysburg, Ohio. She enjoyed volunteering and working at the soup kitchen, sewing, and gardening. She will be truly missed. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Dewey D. Pittman, whom she married December 15, 1985, as well as her siblings and 2 great-grandchildren.

Survived by her grandchildren Howard & Ginger Lee; Crystal & Dan Caudill: great-grandchildren Jennifer Lee; Danny Caudill: her church family: as well as a host of friends.

Paul M. Dapore age 85, of Versailles passed away at 6:55 PM on Sunday, January 27, 2019, at his residence surrounded by his family.

Paul was born July 22, 1933, in Houston, Ohio, to the late George & Celena (Magato) Dapore. In addition to his parents, Paul was also preceded in death by a son, Mark Joseph Dapore; brother, Michael Dapore; sisters, Rita Pohl and Mary Ann Arling; brothers-in-law, Frank Arling and James Tangeman.

Paul is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary “Kay” (Tangeman) Dapore whom he married July 10, 1965; children, Alan & Kathy Dapore of Ansonia, Carol Mayer of Xenia and Brian & Kelly Dapore of Ansonia; grandchildren, Bryan & Anne McEldowney, Bradley & Tiffany McEldowney, Anthony Mayer, Ross Dapore, Grace Dapore, Macy Dapore and Vivian Dapore; great-grandchildren, Jacob McEldowney, Aidan McEldowney, Wyatt McEldowney, Bentley McEldowney, Nash McEldowney and Skylar McEldowney; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Lavern Pohl of Chickasaw, Robert Tangeman of Coldwater and Richard & Marcia Tangeman of Lambertville, Missouri, Judy Tangeman of Charleston, South Carolina and Sue Tangeman of Sikeston, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Paul served in the U.S. Army. He was owner of Dapore Brothers Farm Machinery Versailles, Ohio. Paul was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles.

Bonney Belle Price, 77, of Greenville, passed away early Saturday morning, January 12, 2019 at Village Green Health Campus in Greenville.

She was born on August 6,1941 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Gene and Alice (McQureen) Powell.

In addition to her parents, Bonney was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Bragg, in 1997; her son Mark Bragg.

Bonney was a kind spirit and never knew a stranger She had friends from various walks of life. In her younger days, she enjoyed line dancing. Even in your older years, she was always on the go. Bonnie enjoyed crocheting and had an obsession with bears; stuffed bears, real bears, she even had a bear tattoo. Bonney loved her fuzzy socks. She had more than you could count, but wanted more. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren near and far.

Bonney is survived by her children, Michael (Jeanna) Bragg of Palestine, and Teena (Tim) Stevic of Warrenton, Virginia; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.

A Celebration of Bonney's life will be held Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 3:30PM at the Village Green Health Campus in Greenville with Pastor John Hannan officiating.

Norbert B. Riethman age 88, of Covington passed away at 8:27 AM on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at his residence.

Norbert was born February 21, 1930, in Shelby County to the late August H. & Elizabeth (Tuente) Riethman. In addition to his parents, Norbert was also preceded in death by his wife, Adeline (Goubeaux) Riethman on May 7, 2001, whom he married August 23, 1950; brother, Aloys Riethman; and sisters, Bernadette Schultz and Mary Ann Wenning.

Norbert is survived by his daughters & sons-in-law, Jean & David Powell of Lima, Jane & Rocky Campbell of Versailles and Jill & Kent Paulus of Versailles; grandchildren, Christopher (Gina) Powell, Jennifer (A.J.) Shappell, Megan Campbell, Mitchell Campbell, Nick Campbell, Michael (Julia) Paulus and Kevin (Nicole) Paulus; 7 great-grandchildren; special friend, Loretta Bergman of Minster; brothers & sister-in-law, Linus & Mary Ann Riethman of St. Marys and Homer Riethman of Anna; sister, Helen Wesbecker of Sidney; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Norbert farmed and began his career at GM in Dayton where he worked for 10 years. He retired in 1992 from PMI-Hobart Corporation in Troy with 30 years of service but his true passion was farming. Norbert was a member of St. Remy Catholic Church in Russia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, February 4, 2019, at St. Remy Catholic Church in Russia with Rev. Fr. Martin Fox celebrant. Edna C. (Detrick) Farrell, age 94 of Greenville, Ohio arrived in heaven at 5:00 AM Wednesday January 30, 2019 at the Village Green Health Campus of Greenville. Edna was born June 16, 1924 in Kearny, New Jersey and the daughter of the late Edwin and Mavena (Parker) Rieck.

Edna was retired after 33 years as the Clerk of the Darke County Probate Court, a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Moose Lodge, both of Greenville and the Darke County Seniors. Also had worked as a volunteer at the Brethren Retirement Community and Wayne HealthCare and a couple of her favorite hobbies was playing cards and bowling.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Gerald Detrick; sister Marion Jones; brothers Edwin Rieck, Charles Rieck and Walter Rieck.

Edna is survived by her husband William Joseph Farrell of Greenville. They were married October 15, 2006. Also her children Barbara (Richard) Hocker, Jerry Detrick and Paul (Cathy) Detrick, all of Greenville and Steve (Susanne) Detrick of Winchester, Indiana; step children Thomas Farrell of Florida and Vicki (Marvin) Wilson of Springboro, Ohio; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister Lois Burek of Pennsylvania as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements by Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio.

Dustan was born August 21, 1990, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Elsie King of Greenville. In addition to his mother, Dustan is survived by his fiancée, Mara Maxwell of Greenville; children, Kinleigh, Kingston and Harlyn Hampton; sisters, Frani Buckley of Greenville and April Hampton of Indiana; brothers, Michael Miller of Greenville and Dylon Hampton of Indiana; step-mother, Sheila Hampton of Indiana; uncles & aunt, Billy King of Piqua and Loretta & Billy Robards of Kentucky; and his fiancée’s parents, Lisa & Jake Maxwell of Greenville.

Dustan was preceded in death by his brother, Brandon D. Hampton.

Dustan was quality manager at MAS Janitorial Services in Arcanum.

A celebration of Dustan’s life will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville. Sandra Kay (Lewis) Klinsing, 72 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday January 29, 2019 at 7:55 PM at State of the Heart Care Center, Greenville, Ohio. She was born July 2, 1946 in Huntingdon, PA the daughter of the late Jesse E. & Marie (Grove) Lewis of Heston, PA.

She received a Bachelor’s Degree from Nyack College in New York and was an RN for 6 years; a missionary for 14 years; secretary at Forsyth Technical Community College in North Carolina for 11 years; she was a volunteer, a staff member and board member of the Pregnancy Help Center; she was currently the Secretary of the Board for Community Unity.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters: Janice Dick, & Judy McCrum; her brother: Steven Lewis.

She is survived by her husband: Rev. Doug Klinsing of Greenville whom she married June 11, 1971; her children & spouses: Janelle & Loren Groeneweg of Quito, Ecuador, Kristen & Jeff VonDeLinde of Kettering, Ohio, Erin & Dan Gildner of Perrysburg, Ohio; grandchildren: Caleb, Silas, Elena, Eden, & Elise; her brother & sister in law: Terry & Donna Lewis of Huntingdon, PA.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday February 10, 2019 at 4:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church 114 East Fourth Street, Greenville, Ohio with her brother in law Rev. David Klinsing officiating. Patricia "Patty" May Grimes-Lewis, 63, of Miami, Florida passed away on February 2, 2019 in Florida.

She was born in Greenville, Ohio on May 23, 1956 to the late Mary Vanata and Neil Grimes.

In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Lewis Sr.; her step-father, Chalmer Vanata; her brothers, Terry J. Hampton and Neil Grimes; and her grandparents.

Patty leaves behind her son, Eddie Lewis Jr. of Miami, Florida; her three brothers, Chuck (Kathy) Grimes of Elkart, Indiana, Scott Vanata of Union City, Ohio, and John (Mari) Vanata of Union City, Ohio; her grandchildren, Kevon, Cozy, and Mia of Miami, Florida; her sister-in-law, Carol Hampton of Union City, Ohio; her aunt, Joyce Hampton of Union City, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Patty's Life will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at The Boarderline, 6140 Hillgrove-Southern Rd., Greenville, Ohio at 1:00 PM.

She was a farmer and a waitress; she was a past member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the V.F.W. Post 7262 Ladies Auxiliary.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband: Richard G. Grow Sr.; brothers: John, Jimmy, Joe, & Eddie; her sisters: Mary & Anna.

She is survived by her second husband: James E. Smith Sr. of Union City, Ohio; her children & spouses: Sam & Geneva McClure of Troy, Richard & Katie Grow Jr. of Ansonia, Tony & Donna Grow of New Madison, Jean & Bob Andreas of Greenville, John Grow of Union City; step children: Linda Smith of Greenville, James Smith Jr. of Union City, Kathy & Glen Bryant of Greenville; 21 grandchildren & 22 great grandchildren; sisters: Sarah Skyrock, Patsy Sheets, & Candy Cross.

Lewis L. Stahl age 75, of Versailles passed away at 2:10 PM on Monday, February 4, 2019, at his residence.

Lewis was born September 7, 1943, in Greenville to the late John D. & Mary E. (Warner) Stahl Sr. In addition to his parents, Lewis was also preceded in death by a son, Lewis L. Stahl II; daughters, Cynthia Hart Combs and Vivian Kay; brother, John D. Stahl Jr.; sister, Judith Stahl; and brother-in-law, Richard “Dick” Christian.

Lewis is survived by his wife, Dolores “Dee” Smith Stahl whom he married July 4, 1992; daughter, Kelli Stahl of Indianapolis, Indiana; son-in-law, Charles Hart; granddaughters, Valerie Hart and Catherine Hart; sister. Ronda Christian of Versailles; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.
“All in, no regrets”

Lewis served in the U.S. Army from 1961-1964. He retired from Nickol Monument in Versailles where he sold monuments for 30 years. Lewis was a member of the Covington AMVETS, Versailles Eagles, and Creekside Breakfast Club in Versailles. Lewis served on the Greenlawn Cemetery Board for over 17 years. He was a former member of the Versailles Masonic Lodge.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 9, 2019, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles. Military honors will be conducted by the Versailles Veteran’s Honor Guard Saturday at 5:00 PM at the funeral home. Inurnment in Greenlawn Cemetery in Versailles will be at a later date. H. Maxine (Slyder) Hezlep-Kelly, 84, of North Fort Myers, Florida and formally of Darke County, passed away on February 4, 2019 at Hope Hospice, Cape Coral, Florida.

Maxine was born on November 11, 1934 in Darke County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harold and Leah (Amspaugh) Slyder.

In addition to her parents, Maxine was preceded in death by her brothers, Gene Slyder, Wayne Slyder and Mark Slyder; and her sister, Madge Deis.

Maxine had a fun-loving spirit and enjoyed games. She enjoyed playing Bridge with her Bridge Club. They would play men's team against the women's team. If she would lose, she would not say good-bye, she would say, "to be continued". However, if she won, she would say, "we're done". She loved music and dancing and could play piano, by ear. Maxine liked to travel, either locally or long distances. She grew up on a farm and was no stranger to hard work. She enjoyed her work around the farm and those lessons she carried on throughout her life. She worked for 21 years as a secretary for North School and East Elementary. Above all, Maxine enjoyed people and loved spending time with family and friends.

Maxine is survived by her beloved spouse, Forrest Kelly, whom she married February 14, 2012; her children, Vicky Hamilton of Lebanon, OH, Tim A. Gilbert of Greenville, OH, and Bonny (Ward) Chapin of Palm Dessert, CA; her grandchildren, Andrew Hamilton, Caroline Hamilton, and Alexandra Hamilton; her brother, Don (Shirley) Slyder of Ansonia; and her sister, Marilyn Swallow of Versailles; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

A Celebration of Maxine's Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus. Burial will follow in Ansonia Cemetery.

Friends and family may visit on Saturday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home in Greenville.

Marshall Lue Wells, 63, of Hollansburg, Ohio passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at State of the Heart Care Center in Greenville.

He was born on April 10, 1955 in Hazzard, Kentucky to Emily (Wells) Tuco of Hollansburg, Ohio and the late John Tuco.

In addition to his father, Marshall was preceded in death by his great niece, Katlynn Nestor; his nephew, Joseph Davenport; and his great nephew, Jeremiah Tuco; and his brother-in-law, Gene Weyrick.

Marshall loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved fishing, bowling, movies and listening to music, and dancing. He enjoyed sitting on the porch and talking to neighbors as they stopped by to visit. His favorite events were the poker runs going by. He loved listening to the bikes revving up their engines for him. He adored all babies and always watched over them making sure they were okay and safe. Marshall liked to play tricks and have fun.

In addition to his mother, Marshall is survived by his sisters, Carol Weyrick of Greenville, Carmelisa (Terry) Miles of Hollansburg, Barbara (Greg) Davenport of Brookville, Ohio, Rebecca George of Greenville, and Sandra (Robert) Smith of Bradford, Ohio; his brothers, John (Kathy) Tuco and Robert (Cindy) Tuco, all of Greenville; special great niece, Jordynn Thornton; 21 nieces and nephews, 37 great nieces and nephews; special friends, Austin Harrison and David Stephens; and his favorite caregivers, Shirley Bruner and Lisa Brown.

A celebration of Marshalls life will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Tribute Funeral Homes, New Madison Campus, with Rev. Eric Fee officiating.

Family and friends may visit on Sunday, from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery in New Paris. The family requests that guest dress casually and comfortably.

Samuel J. Riegle, age 84 of New Madison, Ohio passed away at 8:37 PM Thursday February 7, 2019 at the Greenville Health and Rehab Center. Sam was born March 8, 1934 in New Madison and the son of the late Orla E. and Mary A. (Royer) Riegle.

Sam loved animals, always having a pet around and grew up in the country and as a youth helped his uncles with chores on the farm. He received his Associates Degree in Applied Science from Purdue University and his Bachelor of Science Degree in science and engineering from the University of Dayton. Sam retired in 1999 as a Project Engineer with Belden Corporation of Richmond, Indiana. Following retirement he kept busy as a Substitute Teacher at numerous schools in the Darke County area. He was a member of the Fort Jefferson United Methodist Church and the New Madison Lion’s Club. Some of Sam’s hobbies and interests include cooking, fishing, researching family history and genealogy, focusing on current events, news and politics, as well as traveling to various beaches in Florida and spending time in the Rocky Mountains. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Shirley (Moyer) Riegle and daughter Jill Elaine Snyder.

Sam’s survivors include his wife Sharon (Jordan) Riegle of New Madison. They were married June 17, 1978. Also children Jacqueline (Jose) Guevara of Houston, Texas, Ann (Steve) Riegle Crichton of Centerville, Ohio, Samantha Buckley of New Madison, Bridgett (Ray) Roberts of Byrdstown, Tenn. and Jeff (Amanda) Zumbrun of Eaton; grandchildren Elaine, Allen, Jake, David, Joey, Dakota, Neil and Noah, great grandchild Scarlett; brother Thomas H. (Faith) Riegle of Dearborn Heights, Michigan as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday February 12, 2019 in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Doug Baker officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Tuesday 1 hour prior to the services in the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in the Greenmound Cemetery New Madison.

Loretta E. Bey age 91, of Versailles passed away at 11:25 PM on Thursday, February 7, 2019, at Versailles Healthcare Center.

Loretta was born January 19, 1928, in Shelby County to the late Felix & Agnes (Francis) Monnin. In addition to her parents, Loretta was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerome F. Bey Sr. on November 8, 2016 whom she married November 27, 1946; children, John, Linda and Joseph Bey; great-granddaughter, Shelby Bey; siblings, Leroy & Bernice Monnin, Florence & Leonard Gigandet, Henry & Mary Monnin, Forrest William Monnin, Bert & Bill McEldowney, Cecilia & Richard Barhorst, Forrest Monnin II, Homer Monnin, and Joe Monnin; and in-laws, Chalmer Grillot, Carl Bey, Wilmer & Phyllis Bey, and Ruth & Louis Lennartz.

Loretta is survived by her children, Judy & Ron Hoelscher Sr. of Bradford, Jerome & Bonnie Bey Jr. of Versailles and Janet & Jim Billenstein of Versailles; grandchildren, Ron Hoelscher Jr., Lorrie Hoelscher, Michelle (Curtis) Enis, Cindy (Dennis) Fair, Jerome (Sundra) Bey III, Albert (Cindy) Bey, Lisa (Chris) Heid, Sandy Buynak, Benjamin (Emily) Bey, Antony Bey, Steve Bey Jr., John (Amy) Bey, Shannon (Tim) Billenstein, Jody Billenstein and Staci (Dennis) Boyd; 35 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sisters & brother-in-law, Eleanor Grillot of Webster and Mary & Tom Curtin of Chicago, Illinois; in-laws, Connie Monnin of Sidney, Donna Bey of Greenville, Thelma & Mark Jutte of Ft. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles with Rev. Fr. Jim Simons celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery in Versailles. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles. Robert D. Lehman, age 101 , of Bradenton, FL passed away peacefully at Life Care Center of Sarasota, FL on February 8, 2019. He was born in Ft. Jefferson, OH and was the son of Arthur and Edna (McClain) Lehman.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 74 years, Dorothy (Harris) Lehman; his parents, Arthur and Edna Lehman; 3 brothers, Charles, Melvin and a sister, Betty; grandsons, Douglas Huner, Gregory Huner and 3 sons-in-law, Duane E. Detrick, Robert L. Hicks, and Dr. Ziver Huner.

He is survived by his four daughters: Jane Huner (Laszlo) Roznauer, Jean (Earnest) Jones, Janet Hicks, Mary (Dr. Robert) Bard; and a sister, Francis Falknor; 10 Grandchildren, 18 Great-Grandchildren and 10 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Bob had a true entrepreneurial spirit while growing up in Greenville, OH. He held many jobs starting at a very young age. Among them, at the age of 9, he delivered The Grit newspaper to Annie Oakley. At 20 yrs of age he serviced Orville Wright’s vehicle on many occasions while working in Dayton, OH. He served honorably in the U.S. Army during WWII. Later, Bob owned and operated Lehman Sohio Service Station, the Lehman Alignment Shop and the Quick Car Wash until his retirement to Florida in 1977.

After moving to the Bradenton area Bob worked at Tropicana several years and part time at Mixon’s Fruit Farm. He later found his dream job working as a tour guide at Bellm’s Old Cars and Music of Yesteryear in Sarasota.

He was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church, Greenville, OH and Oneco United Methodist Church, Bradenton, FL.

Bob was a Lifetime Member of the Greenville Masonic Lodge, Greenville, OH and of the Scottish Rite in Dayton, OH.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a memorial service following at Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home at Manasota Memorial Park, 1221 53rd Ave. E, Bradenton, FL 34203.

Burial will take place at Palestine Cemetery, Palestine, OH.
